Compact and Comfortable Design
The Giulietta VGA-3PS features a compact 342mm (13.5-inch) wide body with a full 628mm (24.75-inch) scale length, offering excellent playability without sacrificing tone. Its single cutaway design provides easy access to higher frets, while the laminated maple body with a solid spruce top ensures a warm, resonant sound with enhanced clarity and projection.
Super Capacitor Preamp System
At the heart of the VGA-3PS is Vox's innovative Super Capacitor Preamp System, providing exceptional tonal flexibility and dynamic responsiveness. The system delivers a bright, glassy tone with clear low-end definition, capturing the character of an acoustic flat-top guitar. Controls for volume, tone, and a three-way selector are mounted discreetly on the pickguard, allowing quick adjustments without compromising the guitar’s elegant look. The preamp system also includes an active/passive switch and a low-cut trim pot accessible via the back panel, enabling precise tonal shaping.
Hybrid Bridge with Piezo Pickup
The patent-pending Hybrid Bridge System combines a traditional wooden base with a laminated wood and aluminium top section. This unique construction improves string vibration transfer, ensuring consistent intonation and a natural acoustic response. The integrated piezo pickup accurately captures the guitar’s tonal nuances, making it ideal for both unplugged practice and amplified performance.
Enhanced Playability and Features
The set-in mahogany neck with a baked Jatoba fingerboard provides a smooth playing surface, while the 22 medium-jumbo frets and 42mm (1.65-inch) bone nut offer a comfortable feel for various playing styles. The guitar’s thoughtful design includes Vox’s patent-pending string mute, which eliminates unwanted overtones, and sealed die-cast tuners for stable tuning performance. The instrument is powered by a super capacitor, offering up to 10 hours of playtime on a single charge and requiring just 10 minutes for a full recharge.
