Compact and Slim Design
Building upon the foundation of its predecessor, the VGA-3D, the VGA-5TD features a body that is 13mm thinner, resulting in a more compact and comfortable instrument. This design ensures ease of playability without compromising tonal richness, making it suitable for various musical styles and settings.
AREOS-D Digital Modeling System
At the heart of the VGA-5TD lies the AREOS-D digital modeling system. This advanced technology offers a vast array of instrument models, encompassing electric and acoustic guitars, as well as synth sounds. The system provides real-time control over sound-shaping parameters, allowing musicians to seamlessly transition between different tones and effects during performances.
Hybrid Bridge with Piezo Pickup
The VGA-5TD is equipped with a chrome-plated adjustable Tune-O-Matic bridge that incorporates piezo pickups within each saddle. This innovative design captures the natural resonance of the strings, delivering a rich and authentic acoustic tone. Additionally, the bridge allows for precise string height adjustments, catering to individual playing preferences.
Enhanced Playability and Craftsmanship
Featuring a set-in mahogany neck and a baked Jatoba fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets, the VGA-5TD ensures a smooth and responsive playing experience. The guitar's laminated arched maple top and back, combined with laminated maple sides, contribute to its resonant sound and visual appeal. High-class ornamentation and meticulous craftsmanship make this instrument as aesthetically pleasing as it is functional.
Versatile Connectivity and Power Options
Designed for both practice and performance, the VGA-5TD includes a standard 1/4-inch output jack for live amplification and a 1/8-inch stereo mini-jack headphone output for silent practice sessions. The guitar operates on four AA batteries, providing up to 11 hours of continuous use with alkaline batteries and up to 15 hours with Ni-MH rechargeable batteries.
